SaaS + Marketplace Platform for Local Businesses
Horizoney is a platform that enables local businesses to create digital shops, manage products, and reach customers through a centralized marketplace. The platform handles escrow-based payment flows, logistics provider matching where the buyer selects a shipper, order confirmation, and supports both subscription-based and transaction-based revenue models with free and paid SaaS plans.

Enterprise internal systems for Tanzania Assemblies of God HQ covering church administration, member registration, meetings, and digital transformation of organizational processes. Built with integrated APIs, multiple databases, and multi-service architecture.

Designing and developing enterprise internal systems for church administration, member registration, and organizational digital processes. Responsible for backend API development with Java and Spring Boot, frontend interfaces with React.js, database design, system integration across services, and production server management.
Built custom web applications and mobile solutions for clients across different industries. Managed the full project lifecycle — from requirements gathering and architecture to development and delivery. Projects included business management systems and client-facing web platforms.
Developed and maintained client projects using PHP Laravel and React.js. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver software covering both frontend interfaces and backend APIs for business clients.
Beyond writing code — designing systems, managing infrastructure, and ensuring reliability in production.
Designing independent, deployable services that communicate via REST APIs and message queues. Applied in the Horizoney platform architecture.
Designing asynchronous communication between services using events for decoupled, scalable system behaviour.
Integrating systems through REST APIs and gRPC. Experience with service-to-service communication and database synchronization across platforms.
Managing production Linux servers, configuring Nginx as reverse proxy, setting up SSL/TLS, and maintaining server health monitoring.
Hardening servers with WireGuard VPN, SSH key authentication, Fail2ban for brute-force protection, and SSL/TLS for encrypted traffic.
Designing systems that use multiple database technologies — MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse — matched to different data access patterns within the same platform.
Bachelor of Science — studies pursued
Pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems with focus on software development, databases, and enterprise systems. Transitioned into professional software engineering before completing the degree, building production-ready systems and enterprise platforms in parallel with studies. Skills have continued to develop through applied, real-world work.
